Ascension &
Holy Trinity
Parish
Loving one another as Christ loved us!
The parish of Ascension and Holy Trinity has united Episcopalians in West Park and Highland
for over 30 years through worship in two churches and in community service. People who
take part in and enjoy worship and church activities today are part of a parish whose roots
stretch far back into the history of life along the Hudson River. The starting point was in the
19th century, when both churches were established as independent parishes. In the early
1930's, the two parishes began to share rectors, an association that led to their legal union in
1963. The parishes are now served by one vestry and a Priest-in-Charge. Both Ascension and
Holy Trinity continue to serve their respective communities.
The Parish Hall at West Park
The Ascension Parish Hall
offers a charming,
acoustically exciting space
ideal for intimate
performances of chamber
music or jazz, or small
theatrical productions.
There is a small balcony space which could be a
wonderful asset to any performance, behind which is a
second story 'green room' type space also available for
use. A functioning kitchen and small restroom are
soon to be refurbished. Ample parking is available.
The Hall is conveniently located for meetings and
receptions, and the beautiful country setting with
exterior views of the Hudson River enhances any
function.

exterior views of the Hall.
