first two Sundays of the month Godly Play Sunday School is held at 10:15am

third Sunday of the month is a Children's Service

fourth Sunday is the anointing with laying on of hands for healing

fifth Sunday is Blessing of the Animals (all pets welcome)

Altar Guild

The main duty of the Altar Guild at Ascension & Holy Trinity is to prepare the church for Sunday services and any other special occasion.

Teams of two people work one month at a time. Each team spends about one hour on Saturdays cleaning the church, preparing the altar, and laying out the bread and wine.  Also, if the season allows, flowers are arranged.  For special holidays, such as Christmas, the whole parish becomes involved in decorating the churches. 

In addition to preparing the church for services, the Altar Guild goes to the Almy sale in Connecticut where we purchase items at a discount.

The Altar Guild also wraps Christmas gift packages for the shut-ins among our parish.

So come join our Altar Guild, it only takes one hour a week and can be a very rewarding experience.
